WAEC/NECO is a qualifying examination for students that have completed their secondary school curriculum. These examinations enable students to apply for higher study to tertiary institutions. WAEC/NECO conducts their respective exam twice in a year;
- WAEC/NECO MAY-JUNE SSCE: This is for fresh candidates who have completed the compulsory SSCE syllabus.
- WAEC/NECO GCE: This is for candidates who have a deficiency in their SSCE and wish to write the exam as an external candidate. However, candidates who wish to write the examination before he/she completes her syllabus can do so.
WAEC/NECO Examination qualifies a student for higher learning.
