WAEC Announces Full Implementation of Computer-Based WASSCE for November 2025

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has confirmed its readiness to fully transition to Computer-Based WASSCE (CB-WASSCE) beginning with the November 2025 examination for private candidates.

Mr. Amos Dangut, Head of WAEC Nigeria National Office, emphasized during a recent awareness campaign that the digital transition is not a pilot project but a proven reality, having already successfully conducted five computer-based examinations.

“CB-WASSCE is no longer a future concept or a dream – it’s already happening,” stated Mr. Dangut, describing WAEC as “the premier computer-based examination body in the world.”
