What are Navitas pathway programs?

UK universities set entry requirements based on A Levels or equivalent qualifications. Most Nigerian students hold WAEC, NECO or a Nigerian diploma — qualifications that many UK universities do not accept for direct entry. Navitas pathway programmes bridge that gap: they are taught at the university’s own campus or a nearby college, and on passing the programme with the required grades, students progress directly into their chosen degree.

Foundation vs pre-master’s — which one?
International Foundation Programme — for students who have completed secondary school (WAEC/NECO/A Levels) and want to enter a UK undergraduate degree. Duration: approximately one academic year. On completion: entry to Year 1 of the linked undergraduate programme.
Pre-Master’s Programme — for students who hold a Nigerian undergraduate degree and want to enter a UK postgraduate programme. Duration: approximately one or two terms. On completion: entry to a master’s or postgraduate diploma programme at the partner university.

How to apply for a Navitas programme through Galaxy UniPrep
Free consultation in Abuja
Visit our Kado centre or contact us by phone or WhatsApp. We review your qualifications, discuss your preferred subject and destination, and identify which Navitas programmes you are eligible for.
English language preparation (if needed)
If your IELTS score is below the programme requirement, we run IELTS preparation classes at our Abuja centre. We also offer TOEFL, PTE and Duolingo preparation. As an ETS Authorized Test Centre, you can sit your TOEFL at the same facility.
Application and offer
We submit your application to Navitas on your behalf, help you prepare your personal statement and reference letters, and manage communication with the programme team until you receive your conditional offer.
UK Student visa guidance
Once you hold an unconditional offer and your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), we guide you through the UK Student visa application process — documents, financial requirements, and interview preparation where needed.
