Heriot-Watt University Dubai
Established in 2005 as one of the first overseas universities in Dubai International Academic City, Heriot-Watt University Dubai now operates from a purpose-built campus in Dubai Knowledge Park, serving students from over 100 nationalities. Its degrees are awarded under the UK’s Royal Charter — the same qualification as graduates of the Edinburgh home campus. Murdoch University Dubai
Murdoch University Dubai is an international branch campus of Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia — ranked #423 in the QS World University Rankings 2026. Established in 2008 and relocated to a purpose-built facility in Dubai Knowledge Park in 2020, the campus is accredited by CAA (MoHESR) and KHDA. All degrees carry full Australian university accreditation. Murdoch Dubai offers three intakes per year — January, May and September — giving students flexibility in their start date.
